Luxury Chamber of Commerce (www.luxurychamber.com),
the preeminent leader of upscale business networking events in South
Florida, will be fulfilling the dream of going nationwide by opening
an additional chapter in the Greater Detroit area followed by
Chicago, IL. Jay Shapiro is founder of the home chapter in Fort
Lauderdale, Fl and plans to work with Steve Joiner in Michigan.
“Luxury
Chamber's objectives & values represent Michigan in a time of
need,” Jay states. “I'm excited to provide our business
networking events to the greater Detroit area. Luxury Chamber
provides upscale business networking events to those who demand more
than just the run of the mill mixer. Chamber events have been held at
venues such as: Ritz Carlton, Neiman Marcus, The Country Club &
local Marinas. The events tend to cater to business people dealing in
varying luxury industries such as: art, fine automobiles, yacht / jet
brokers, jewelry, real estate, fashion, wine, golf, & related
services. The Chamber plans to assist local business people and the
community by fullfilling the following objectives:

a referral network for people dealing in luxury

Contribute
to the local tax base by creating events in the local market

up cash flow in the economy by making business introductions which
can potentially lead to high dollar transactions in an otherwise
slow moving luxury market

benefits, mentoring, and educational opportunities to members
Luxury Chamber of Commerce is the first and only chamber
of commerce in the U.S. to focus on luxury & affluence.
Membership requirements are stringent and maintain that to become a
member one must have a net worth of $2,000,000. or more, be employed
or a business owner dealing in luxury goods or services, or provide
three chamber referrals whom meet the previous two requirements and
follow through on becoming members.
The
first event in Detroit / Royal Oak is to be titled: “The Inaugural Mixer” and
will take place at “Black Finn – Royal Oak” on Tuesday February
22nd 6:00-9:00PM. Tickets to The Inaugural Mixer are available at:
